The little building at the corner of Wall and Walnut streets has been an ice shop, gun shop and watch shop. The building is well liked by the community and seems to be an icon for Sherman. We have been told that it is the oldest unmodified building in Sherman. We plan to renovate the building, removing it from the substandard list and get it ready to rent. This will include brick work, new windows and doors, bathroom renovation, new roof and paint.
Nate Strauch wrote an article in the Herald Democrat that surprised him with the public response. We will update as we begin the rehabilitation of this property.
